The short version

quintelcorp.com sets no cookies. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. We do not use Google Analytics, we do not embed advertising pixels, we do not run remarketing tags and we do not share visitor data with third parties for any purpose.

This is a deliberate design decision, not an oversight. A corporate information site does not need to track the people who read it, and the cost of a consent banner — to the reader, and to our own credibility on transparency — is higher than the value of the data it would unlock.

If a future feature requires a cookie — for example a language preference — this page will be updated before the feature ships and a consent mechanism added where the law requires one.

How we measure traffic

We use privacy-preserving, server-side aggregate analytics provided by our hosting platform. It counts page views, referrers and coarse country-level geography derived from the connection, and it does not set an identifier, does not follow you between sites and does not allow us to reconstruct an individual visitor’s session.

What this gives us: which pages people read, which they abandon, and whether a news release reached anyone. What it does not give us: who you are, what else you looked at, or anything we could use to target you later. That trade is acceptable to us.

Fonts and third-party resources

Typefaces on this site are loaded from a third-party font service, which means your browser makes a request to that service and it can see your IP address. We are working to self-host the fonts to remove that request entirely. Until then, this is the only third-party connection the site makes on a normal page load.

There are no embedded videos, no social media widgets, no chat tools, no A/B testing scripts and no tag manager. Every additional script is a party you did not agree to meet.

Controlling what is stored anyway

Even though this site sets nothing, you may want to control what other sites store. All major browsers allow it:

  • Block or delete cookies for all sites, or per site, in your browser privacy settings.
  • Use private or incognito browsing, which discards storage when you close the window.
  • Send a Global Privacy Control signal; we honour it, though on this site it changes nothing because we already do not track you.
  • Use a content blocker. Nothing on this site will break if you do — we test with blockers enabled.
